The Common Sense Firearms Act (C-42) Receives Royal Assent

If you haven’t already heard, our Kenora riding will be facing Bob Nault (former Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and Co-Chair of the Caucus Committee on Gun Control) and possibly Howard Hampton (former Kenora-Rainy River MPP and Provincial Leader of the NDP) in the upcoming election.

This is a real problem for law abiding firearms owners.

Justin Trudeau was clear, when he said "I voted to keep the firearms registry a few months ago and if we had a vote tomorrow I would vote once again to keep the long-gun registry".

Justin Trudeau’s “Star Candidate” Bob Nault, was part of the government that created the wasteful and ineffective Long Gun Registry. At the time, he said: “It’s a very vocal minority that dislikes the legislation” (Kenora Daily Miner and News, December 24, 1998)

Over to Thomas Mulcair who says: “we will bring in something that allows the police to track every gun in Canada”. Mulcair told reporters “[t]hat’s an obligation we intend to respect.”

But there is some good news in all of this. Today, I am pleased to announce that our Common Sense Firearms legislation received Royal Assent. Our government has stood up for law abiding firearms owners. And that is something that we will continue to do after the upcoming election.

We worked so hard to destroy the long gun registry, and we need to make sure it won’t come back. Will you donate to Greg’s campaign and support our Conservative government’s fair and common sense approach to firearms?

It’s clear that only Greg Rickford will stand up and protect gun owners in the Great Kenora Riding!

These funds will be USED EXCLUSIVLEY IN THE KENORA RIDING to fight against the bad ideas of the NDP and Liberals.

Greg is up against a tough fight with the Liberals on one front, and the NDP on the other, so he needs the people who believe in him and what he stands for to stand up and get involved and support him.

Will you donate $42 Today?

Your donation only costs you $10.50 - you will receive a tax rebate of $31.50 at the end of the year.
